Peace, Love & Joy Ornaments

Make beautiful ornaments for the holiday. Whether you hang them on your Christmas tree or on a gorgeous garland, they're sure to add that perfect, loving touch!

You'll Need:

• Clear Christmas ball ornaments
• Patterned papers
• Paper cutter
• Pencil
• Craft knife (adult use only)
• Masking tape
• Acrylic paints
• Paintbrush
• Assorted ribbon scraps
• Embellishments: rings, jewelry tag

To Make Peace, Love & Joy Ornaments:

1. Take top off clear ball ornament, and set it aside. Cut strips of paper from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch wide.

2. Curl paper strips around pencil. Place curled paper into ornament to fill. Replace ornament top.

3. Download ornament patterns here. Cut out inside of letters with craft knife to create stencils. Tape stencil to ornament, and paint word onto ornament.
   
   
4. Tie ribbons to top hook. Add other accessories, if desired.

Elegant Wire Ornaments

Spread the joy of Christmas with these simple yet elegant decorations. What could be better than a package topper that doubles as an ornament?

You'll Need:

• 36-inch length 18-gauge steel spool wire
• Needlenose pliers
• Wire cutters
• 2 beads
• 14 inches silver cord

To Make Elegant Wire Ornaments:

1. Use needlenose pliers to bend wire into letter shapes, using one of the patterns for a guide. Download ornament patterns. Trim excess wire with wire cutters.

2. Slip bead onto each end of wire. Use pliers to make small loop at end of the wire to prevent bead from slipping off.
   
   
3. Fold cord in half, and knot loose ends. Tie cord around top of letter O for hanger.
